    Labor Day fireworks over Lake D’Arbonne

    The Chamber of Commerce will conduct a fireworks event over Labor Day weekend. “Labor Day Weekend Blowout” over Lake D’Arbonne is set for Saturday, September 2, beginning at approximately at 8:30 pm. The fireworks show will begin as soon after 8:30 pm as possible or when the sky becomes dark enough for fireworks to be fully appreciated.  Contact the Chamber …

    The statewide burn ban put in place on August 7 by the Louisiana Fire Marshal continues, and this week Gov. John Bel Edwards expanded the ban to include fires planned by state agencies.
