Hosting Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans generated a state-
wide economic impact of $1.25 billion, more than double the
impact of the city’s last Super Bowl in 2013 and one of the larg-
est in NFL history.
That’s according to a new economic analysis released by Lou-
isiana State University’s E.J. Ourso College of Business, which
evaluated the event’s spending, job creation, tax revenue and
visitor reach.
