Recent escalation of the middle east conflict and its potential ramifications

The United States has been under attack from the People’s Republic of Iran for 47 years. Though the average American citizen did not realize it, a silent hidden war has been ongoing for decades. Iran partnered with the Taliban, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, Iraqi Shia militias, and Syrian militias, These groups have two things in common; the hatred of freedom loving America and funding and support from Iran. Iran has had blood on its hands since the Shah was deposed in 1979. Estimates are as high as 1,000 Americans being killed by Iran or its proxy terrorist groups since 79. That had to stop yet the war that we are now in must be managed carefully less it grows out of proposition to what the original plan called for. 

Originally, we witnessed Iran blown out of existence; or so we thought. All military activities were centered on Iran. Now the Houtis in Yemen have attacked ships which threatened vessels moving out of the Red Sea. Now, over the weekend a terrorist group operating out of Iraq, a new country to enter the war, hit two of the pump stations on the East/West pipeline in Saudi Arabia. This has led to the shutting down of the pipeline and thus Saudi Arabia has no way to transport its oil.
