Johnny Long, 77, passed away at his home in Downsville, Louisiana on February 8, 2024. Visitation will be held at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, Louisiana on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held at Holmesville Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024 with Bro. Kurt Auger officiating.
Johnny was born in Ruston, Louisiana to Jessie and Hazel Long on January 19, 1947. He was a sales manager for Hunt Forest Products and a member of Holmesville Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elzie Long and Billy Wayne Long; and daughter, Allyson Lynn Long.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Richard Long (Sandy); nephews, Stephen Long and David Long; and numerous cousins.
