Sunday was a full day and a full house. It is truly a blessing to see the church full. Lunch was served after church then the Vacation Bible School program followed. After the program we had a afternoon of water slides. A good time was had by all.
Vacation Bible School wrapped up today with the Bible school program. We had a blessed week. High attendance for children was 75. High attendance for the week was 116 (children and adults). Let your light shine for Jesus. That is something we need to do daily. We appreciate it child that was in attendance.
Sunday school attendance was good. It is a blessing to have so many attend Sunday school. There is a class for all age groups. We would love for you to join us Sunday. If you are looking for a home church we would love to have you at Dean.

Today’s Scripture, 2 Corinthians 10:18 – 11:11, reveals Paul’s heart for God’s people as he continues to warn them of the hypocrisy and deceit of the false teachers trying to lead Christians in Corinth astray.
He tells the church that he has a godly jealousy for them, and he reminds them of the sacrifices he has made on their behalf and of his commitment to their
knowing the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are to serve the King in caring for his Kingdom. That should still be the expectation of the Church for its leadership. From the pastor to the deacons, the heart of every Church leader should be to lead the Church to the Truth found in God’s Word and to reject anything contrary to that Truth.
Paul goes on to say he desires the Church to be a pure bride for Christ. When you study Scripture, you see that the marriage relationship is the best earthly example of the Christian’s relationship with God.
When Jesus tells the Disciples that “I go to prepare a place for you, and when that place is complete, I will come again and receive you to myself,” He is referring to the Biblical custom of the groom returning for his beloved bride.
In Revelations 19, John uses the same concept of the groom’s return for his bride, clothed in pure white linen, which is the righteousness of Christ.
The desire of Paul’s heart was for the Church to one day stand before Jesus pure and righteous. And the only way to stand acceptable in His sight, is by the atoning blood of Jesus, the perfect sinless sacrifice, born of a virgin.
Jesus gave His life on the cross and was judged for our sin. His sinless blood was spilled for the forgiveness of our sin. He died and rose on the third day, forever defeating death and sin for all who believe in Him. Anyone who calls on His Name will be saved.
Eternity is not to be played with. One day, and it won’t be long, the Bridegroom will return. Will you be ready?

Mike sang the inspiring “He Will Hide Me”, to begin our worship service.
As we will be in revival next week, Bro. Bubba‘s message was to remind us to be prepared, if we really want revival. His scripture was Jeremiah 4:1-3 and Hosea 10: 12-13. The same principles taught in the Old Testament apply to us today. God was speaking to Israel because of their transgressions against God. Fallow ground is hard and won’t produce. Some of our hearts are fallow ground that has not been plowed with repentance. Even when Jesus comes into our lives, often there are some things we don’t want to give up. For true revival, we must be willing to give all to God. Here are three things we can do to prepare for revival.
1) We must confirm God‘s authority and recognize Jesus is Lord. Is our lives centered around bringing honor and glory to God in all we do? 2). We must confess Godless actions. We need to ask God‘s forgiveness and help in overcoming any part of our lives that we are holding back.
3) We must continue Godly advancement. When the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, we should confess and choose God’s way.

Romans 8:27-29 – HE makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. We never know what life will hold. But we have a promise that God will be with us. HE who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him – John 14:21. God is always working for our good!
Through His providence, God can see everything coming before us. Our disappointments, may actually be God’s appointments! HE takes all the circumstances in life and fits them together for His Will – all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
God’s purpose is to give us hope. Things that happen are for our good, even when we may not see it at the time. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope – Jeremiah 29:11. We should give thanks for all things, no matter what happens. His promise is not about health, wealth, etc. God’s purpose is to make us like Jesus. His desire plan is that all who come to Him, would be conformed to the image of His Son. And that is the best thing that could happen to us!
