DWCC Father’s Day Program

 HOMER, la. – For the first time ever, David Wade Correctional Center (DWCC) hosted its Father’s Day Program on Sunday, June 14, offering fathers who are incarcerated a unique opportunity to spend meaningful time with their children in a positive, family-centered environment. 

The event is designed to foster connection through a day of fun, laughter and interactive activities. Fathers and their children will enjoy oversized Jenga and Connect Four games, bookmark and bracelet making, coloring activities, educational flashcards, Nintendo Wii gaming, face painting, and more. Families will also receive complimentary photographs and keepsakes to commemorate the occasion.
