4-H Spotlight

My name is Laney Broussard. I’m the daughter of Ryan and Sara Broussard of Linville. I am 16 years old, in the 10th grade, and homeschooled. I have been in 4-H since I was 9 years old. The last two years I have served on the Regional Leadership Board representing Union Parish 4-H. I started out showing pigs, goats, and dairy cattle. The past several years I have shown beef cattle, which is my passion. 4-H is such a great program! It teaches kids responsibility, commitment, work ethic, helps build character, and 4-H members build friendships that will last a lifetime. 4-H has definitely been a great experience for me, and I would recommend it to anyone!
