Thelma J. Lacaze, 84, was born on February 11, 1940 in Robeline, Louisiana, and passed away at her home in Farmerville, Louisiana on March 31, 2024. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Antioch Baptist Church in Farmerville from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Rubin Weaver officiating. Interment will take place at Rocky Branch Cemetery under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Bessie Cotton; husband, William George Clark; and son, Richard Darrel Clark.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Roy Sharpley (Felecia); daughters, Rosalind Kilcrease, Sherry Clark, Lori Kirby (Mark), and special adopted daughter, Cheryl Spillers; brothers, Melvin Cotton, Douglas Cotton, Robert Cotton; sisters, Rubilee Pingilley, Maxine Cotton; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and extended family, friends, and loved ones.
Thelma was a native of Robeline, Louisiana. She was a graduate of Sabine Valley Vocational Technical School in Natchitoches, Louisiana where she earned her degree as an LPN. She loved taking care of people. She was a special, loving mother and sister and will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be Mark Kirby, Jeffery Clark, Daniel Sharp, Zachary Patero, Dalton “Pee Wee” Spillers, and Troy Sandifer.
