National Night Out 2024
National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. NNO also enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

Folk Festival Day at Union Museum
Crafters & artisans: Sign up now for Folk Festival
The museum’s annual folklife celebration—now called Bayou D’Arbonne Folk Festival—is seeking crafters and food vendors for the May 4 extravaganza.
Those who want to demonstrate oldtime skills, with no sales of items, can call Terri Silmon at 318-307-9653.​
Crafters who want to sell handmade items in a booth space can call Olivia Hodges at 318-608-9150. (Booth: $25)
