On April 16, Bruce Causey would be sentenced to 40 years of
hard labor on one count of Manslaughter. According to the details
of the case, the dispute would begin when Causey, who had escaped
custody, would go to Foster Farms and enter a heated argument
with Ketrick Calhoun; this argument would escalate into a stabbing
that would prove fatal for Ketrick Calhoun.

“A Baton Rouge man faces 45 years in prison after being
sentenced Tuesday, April 15, 2025, for the 2022 stabbing death
of a co-worker at Foster Farms in Farmerville and subsequently
escaping from custody.
