Johnny Creed on Jail Commission Meeting

“According to the minutes of the Union Parish Jail Commission meeting on 2/25/25 action was initiated to begin discussion with a service provider for the TWP at the detention center. The TWP is more commonly known as the work release program that allows inmates to be employed outside of the jail earning at least minimum wage. The inmates in the program are selected by the staff at jail and submitted to DOC for approval. Once approved they are assigned a job, currently the majority at the House of Raeford poultry plant in Arcadia and a few jobs locally.
