John Christopher Jones

Funeral services for John Christopher Jones, age 21 of Farmerville, LA, were held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Darbonne Church of Christ. Michael Fox will be officiating. Burial followed at Post Cemetery in Farmerville, LA under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.  John was a 2020 graduate of Union Parish High School and was a member of the Darbonne Church of Christ. He was a student and worked part time at Auto Zone. John loved to hunt and fish and he was a best friend to many. He was the kind of friend you could count on. He loved his family, friends, and church family. John is survived by his parents Chris and Tammy Reeves Jones; brother Noah Jones; maternal grandparents Billy Joe and Linda Reeves; paternal grandparents Travis and Karen Jones; two uncles Joe Reeves (Oksana) and Tony Reeves (Tonya); his aunt Alisa Blackerby; numerous cousins, his church family, and his pets Chloe and Dixie.  Serving as pallbearers were Mark Smith, Austin Reeves, Weston Arnold, Bradley Reeves, Dennis Holdman, Caleb Bunch, Joe Reeves, David Reeves, Camden Sutton and Wyatt Gates. Visitation was held from 12:00 PM until the time of service Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the Darbonne Church of Christ.  Romans 8: 38-39 “For I am convinced that neither death nor life….nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Our Lord.”
