Immigrants – not simple

Unlawful immigration into the United States has
been a hot button issue for quite a while. Unfortunately
the resolution of what we currently have has no simple
answer and until we sit down like mature adults to
discuss the issues and come up with resolutions we will
stay in this quandary forever; and that is not
acceptable.
If we look at the problem from a distance
and feel little or no empathy or understanding
for those that enter the United States in an illegal
manner, the solution is simple; deport them
all. On the other side of the coin, if we have
benevolence and look at the issue as a Christian
or Jewish or Buddhist or some other caring
religion the solution is simple; let everyone
in America take care of them as if we have been
commanded to do so. Then we discover the
edge of the coin, the mid-point that declares that we let
those into America that are seeking asylum because they
are being truly persecuted and torture and death is possible
if they do no escape their native country. These are
those in true need of the United States and not simply
because life and financial gains are better in America.
Where do we go from here and come up with some
