Gary Canterbary

A funeral service for Mr. Gary Canterberry. Age 72 of Spearsville, LA was held Wednesday March 22, 2023 at Hopewell Baptist Church in Spearsville, LA with Bro Dewayne Ramsey, Bro. Adam Holloway and Chis Canterberry officiating. Burial followed in Conway Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.  

Mr. Canterberry is preceded in death by his parents: Buddy and Viola Canterberry, brothers: Frankie Lee, Gerald, and Lynn Canterberry, and his nephews: Mikey and Danny Canterberry and Stacy and Clinton Cascio.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Judy Canterberry, his daughters: Wendy Canterberry and  Cindy Dison and husband Dusty, his sons: Chance Canterberry and wife Brittany and Chris Canterberry and wife Kristin, his sisters: Floye Black, Judy Hanson, and Janice Cascio and husband A.W., grandchildren: Holly Rogillio (Aaron), Kayla Williams (Dean), Samantha Farrington, Cole Farrington, Drew and Caitlyn Farrington, Katy Ezell, Whitney Frey (Heath), Kamryn Canterberry, Kenzee Canterberry and Ryder Canterberry, great grandchildren: Carsyn Rogillio, Allisyn Rogillio, Brantley Farrington, Myra Williams, and Zoey Frey, special friend: Brian Jester (Karen), and bonus daughter: Katie Hodge (Shane).

Serving as pallbearers will be Shannon Smith, Brent Cranford, Kenneth Ramsey, Dominique Ballez, Randy Bowman, Stacy Odom, Earl Timmons, Ricky Hayes, Hank Kinnison, and An Caseio.

Visitation was held from 5:30 PM to 7:30:00 PM Tuesday March 21, 2023 at Hopewell Baptist Church.
