Local agribusiness leader funds completion of Union Parish High FFA greenhouse

Union Parish School District Superintendent Dr. Cathy Stockton said she did not anticipate such a swift response when she reached out to the community for assistance in finishing the greenhouse project for the Future Farmers of America program at Union Parish High School.
Dr. Stockton recently requested $6,000 in contributions to complete the greenhouse, a campus project designed to strengthen agricultural education and provide students with hands-on learning opportunities tied to modern farming practices.
