FENTANYL DISTRIBUTION
INVESTIGATION YIELDS
ARREST OF MARION MAN
The Union Parish Sheriff’s Office
has arrested a Marion man following
a lengthy narcotics investigation
conducted by agents with the Sheriff’s
Office Narcotics Division.
On February 5, 2026, deputies
located and arrested John Roman
Womble, 36, of Marion, in connection
with multiple outstanding arrest
warrants. The warrants stem from
separate investigations in 2025
involving the distribution of illegal
controlled dangerous substances within
Union Parish. The narcotics Womble is
accused of dealing include marijuana,
Alprazolam, and Fentanyl. He was also
taken into custody on additional failure
to appear warrants related
