CNA Pinning Ceremony

Union Parish High School is proud to announce
the graduation of its first class of Certified Nursing
Assistants. These seniors recently completed
a state-approved training course and successfully
passed a certification exam that included both a
written section and a hands-on skills assessment.
This course was offered through dual enrollment
at Louisiana Delta Community College’s Ruston
Campus, allowing these young women to begin
working immediately to help address the ongoing
shortage of healthcare workers.
A beautiful pinning ceremony was held on Tuesday
at the Union Parish High School Library. Senior
Joana Martinez also completed her CNA certification
in July 2024 through the West Monroe
campus of LDCC. We’re proud of each of our students
whose hard work and dedication to helping
others are paying off in significant ways.
