Many recognize China as a country of modern growth with high rise apartments, large manufacturing facilities, technological innovation and even a nation aspiring to place a flag on the moon. While this is true the road to this modern country was rough, rocky and steeped in death and extreme hardships. Its no wonder that there is little business conscience for a country with a win-at-all-cost philosophy.
In the 1920s China was in chaos. War between the non-communist and the communist was ongoing. The non-communist conquered the war lords of the south and was battling the northern war lords. The non-communist were trying to unite the country while at the same time destroying the communist. In the 1930s Japan invaded China and total chaos ensued. The communist and the non-communist formed an alliance, though shaky, to fight against Japan. Louisiana’s own Clair Chenault led a group of mercenary aircraft fighters aligned with the non-communist to fight Japan.
After the war in 1945, the civil war continued and communist and non-communist war reignited. Under the leadership of Chiang Kai-shek the non-communist fought the army of communist leader Mao Tse Tung. Chang experienced numerous blunders that finally led to him being pushed onto an island off the coast of China. This island is today Taiwan and is a major point of contention with mainland China, Originally Taiwan was considered to be the official China but the world eventually stripped Taiwan of that title and gave it to mainland China.
America remained a major supporter of Taiwan and it was no secret that America had little affection for mainland China; the communist. China sent troops to battle America in Korea and later supported Viet Nam during our war in Southeast Asia. During the 1960s tension between China and the United States relaxed and President Nixon crafted a pact between the two countries that would lead to peace and mutual economic support.
What wasn’t meant to happen was that American intellectual property was to be stolen or pilfered by China and unique mechanical or computer equipment was to be reverse engineered and used by China. This nefarious action did happen and America eventually suffered as China rose to economic and scientific prominence.
Now China has become one of the two leading economic nations in the world. China’s influence is growing in our hemisphere as money earned from American ingenuity and sale of products fund infrastructure projects in South America and now Cuba. Cuba is buying up thousands of acres of America’s farmland. They are also destroying America from within. China is supplying Mexican Cartels with chemicals to make fentanyl. When Fentanyl is produced the drug moves north to America and into the bodies of Americans. Our citizens are dying. TikTok is capturing the soul of America and China has a better understanding of the typical American psychological profile than America itself.
As America slept China was growing evermore stronger. Now they are preparing for the most aggressive action of its modern existence. Unless America displays a strong backbone, China will load up their landing craft, launch air craft from the mainland, encircle Taiwan from a communist navy and invade the island. Then if we don’t thwart this action and Taiwan falls, it will only be a matter of time and the Philippines will be next.
We must take decisive action and do it today. Dismantling the economic machine that fuels communist China must happen. Strengthening America’s military is a no-brainer. Our military inventories have taken a beating while supporting the Ukraine and Israel. We must continue this support but our inventories must be increased. Our oil strategic supplies need to be increased to refill what was used to lower gas prices instead of saving the oil for true emergency use. America and its European allies must do whatever it can to thwart the Communist China expansion.
God Bless America, God save the Ukraine and Pray for Israel.
