Cecilia Gladys Patrick

Funeral services for Ms. Cecilia Gladys Patrick, age 60 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, June 3, 2024 at Dean Baptist Church with Bro. Craig Fleming and Bro. Jed Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at Dean Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Ms. Cecilia graduated from Marion High School in 1981 and from Bastrop Vo-Tech in nursing. She was a nurse for over 42 years, serving over 20 years at Ridge Crest Nursing Home and finishing her career with Allegiance Hospice. Ms. Cecilia was known for her loving care and attentiveness for her patients and she was loved by her fellow nurses. She was a member of Dean Baptist Church. She loved to cook and host gatherings at her home. Ms. Cecilia also loved planting flowers and plants. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. 
Ms. Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents, Loyal Edward and Dovie Aycock Patrick; three grandchildren, Kaylee Wallace, Aleiya Wallace, and Trinity Wallace; four brothers, Joe Eddie, Cecil, Jimmie Lane, and Jessie Patrick; sisters, Juanita Rhodes, Ella Wees Woodell, Rebecca Morley, Kim Patrick, and Stephanie Patrick.
She is survived by her daughter, Chelssie Patrick; son, Logan Patrick; grandsons, Kristopher Patrick and Khoda Patrick; faithful companion, Bruce Modest; and her sisters, Rosa Patrick Turner and Beverly Patrick, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be James Michael Patrick, Levi Pitts, Joseph Patrick, Kelly Joe Patrick, Richard Rhodes, and Louis Davis.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home.
