A Comparison of Political and Economic Ideals

America is in the middle of an election that is posing a danger to the ideals and principles that led to an agricultural experiment growing into the greatest nation in the history of the world. Today we are experiencing a great divide that threatens to throw away all the attributes of this nation and place America on the edge of a precipice that will ultimately lead to the collapse of the partd of the world that has embraced freedom and capitalism.

Following World War II America and the free world almost went to war against Russia. We sat back and watched Russia turn much of Eastern Europe into the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic, the USSR, The cold war began and would last for 30 years until we witnessed economic collapse in the USSR.

This cold war period was not without physical war. We saw North Korea invade South Korea in an attempt to expand Communistic rule. Ten years later and we were bogged down in Viet Nam; a war that bled America and changed much of our social values after losing over 50,000 young men and women to the communist. Finally Communism collapsed amid economic pressures from a free world and we witnessed what freedom looks like when oppression attempts to take over in Kuwait during Desert Storm.
