MOREHOUSE PARISH, La. (KNOE) – A targeted weekend enforcement operation across Morehouse and Ouachita parishes resulted in 32 criminal arrests and the seizure of illegal narcotics and firearms, according to the Louisiana State Police.
Detectives from the LSP Criminal Investigation Division Monroe Field Office partnered with Troop F troopers for the two-day detail. Officials said the initiative responded directly to a recent surge in criminal activity across the Troop F coverage area, focusing resources on illegal weapons, drug trafficking, and violent offenders.
During the proactive sweep, troopers executed 188 traffic stops, generating the following enforcement totals including:
