Farmerville Pedestrian hit by vehicle

 UNION PARISH, La. (KNOE) – The Farmerville Police Department announced emergency crews have shut down South Main Street in Farmerville after a vehicle struck a pedestrian Thursday. 

Officers with the Farmerville Police Department and deputies from the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash at the intersection of South Main Street and Thomas Street. 

According to FPD, they closed the roadway to all traffic and urged drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes while first responders remained on scene.
