Revival Prayer: Heavenly Father,
I come before You asking
for renewal in my heart. Wash
me clean from every sin and
rekindle my love for You. Remove
spiritual complacency
and replace it with a hunger for
Your presence. Breathe fresh
fire into my soul so that I may
walk in obedience and passion
for Your kingdom. Lord, let revival
begin in me and spread to
others through the testimony of
my life.
Family Revival: When families
are united in Christ, revival
flows naturally into homes and
generations. “But as for me and
my house, we will serve the
Lord.” Joshua 24:15
Revival Prayer: Lord, I lift my
family before You today. May
Your Word guide our decisions
and Your Spirit dwell richly
among us. Heal broken relationships,
strengthen our faith,

A Pastor’s Heart – II Corinthians
12:19 – 13:3
The primary reason for Paul’s
second letter to the Church in
Corinth is his concern for their
spiritual growth. His goal is
that through the example of his
life, and the teaching of Christian
principles, the Church will
mature in their faith.
Paul’s writings accomplish two
different things. To those who
are growing in their spiritual
walk, he is encouraging. To
those who have drifted away,
he is rebuking or correcting.
In verse 12:20-21, Paul says
he’s afraid he’s going to find
some in the Church back in unrepentant
sin.
We have a tendency to say,
“Pastor, you stepped on my
toes today,” when we’re convicted
of a sin in our lives. That
means something pricked our
heart. In reality, that something
was a Someone, the Holy Spirit
convicting us of the reality of
sin in our life.
Conviction should never be the
end result. Rather, conviction
should lead to repentance. A
Christian without repentance
in his life is a sick, weak Christian.
Paul dreaded the fact that some
confrontations regarding unaddressed
sin would be necessary
upon his return, and this broke
his heart.
But he understood the danger
of sin in the Church. As much
as we like to believe it, sin
doesn’t just affect the sinner. It
has a ripple effect that touches
those around us.
The Church was blessed to
have Paul in their lives. They
may not have even realized it
at the time, but one thing is for
sure. Paul loved God’s Church;
he loved God’s people. And
he realized the importance of
repentance (turning away from
sin.) He knew a repentant heart
was the bridge to a forgiven
heart.

Our Master In Heaven – Colossians
4:1
We have earthly masters and a
Heavenly Master, who is God.
A servant is someone under authority
and a master is the being
in authority. God is the Ultimate
Authority. He wants us
to give Him our heart which in
this context means our whole
being; our heart, soul, emotions,
physical self and mental
self.
Love Determines Faithfulness:
Colossians 3:22
We should all be in awe at the
amazingness of God. Every
job or interaction we have with
other people who are outside
of the church is a mission field
for us to bring others to God
through Jesus Christ. We do
our best for an earthly boss
or person of authority. How
much more so should we do
it for God who is the only real
authority. Here on earth we
expect to receive pay for the
things we do for an employer.
Our ‘pay’ from God will be our
rewards in heaven. (Colossians
3:23)
Laziness Destroys Fruitfulness:
Malachi 1:6-8,10,14 and
Malachi 3:8-10.
We need to honor God more
than our earthly authority figures
or bosses. We should give
our best to God – the best in
our work, praise, and offerings.
Are we giving to God as heartily
as we give to our work?
Labor Decides Our Future: Colossians
3:23-25
Jesus saved us through His
death on the cross through
His righteousness. If we truly
believe in Jesus Christ as our
Lord and Saviour our salvation
is safe. But the closeness
of our relationship with God
is dependent on how close and
obedient we are to God. Do we
read and study the Bible, memorize
scripture, pray to Him
and praise Him and follow HIs
commandments? Our actions
on earth do not determine our
salvation, but they do determine
our rewards in heaven.
The service was closed with
prayer after the invitation to
accept Jesus as Saviour was
given.
