Enigma Explorer reopens her ‘why’ file

The Enigma Explorer has been falling down on the job lately. In fact, she’s been so lackadaisical you may have forgotten she exists. 

Well, I’m here to tell you: She’s still alive and well, pondering and musing, day in and day out. 

Just to refresh your memory, the EE (who also goes by the initials srh) wrote four columns in 2023 contemplating the mysteries of the universe, followed by two in 2024. Since then … nada … even though she has a file on her computer named “WHY.” It contains such questions as: 

– “Why do TikTok recipe people take such big bites of their food at the end of their videos?” (I found out it’s not because they’re pigs; they’re doing it just for show.) 

– And “Why do people back into parking spaces?” (I can barely back OUT of one. But the explanation is: mainly for safety and convenience.)
