Marion Citizen of the Year Award to Jane and Bobby Andrews

 Held on the second weekend of May every year, The Mayhaw Festival is a staple of Marion culture. Featuring much of the namesake treat, Mayhaw Jam is the premiere mascot of Marion. Marion and Mayhaw go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. 

At this year’s Mayhaw Festival Awards Ceremony, the Mayor of Marion, Danny A. Smith, awarded this year’s 2026 Marion Citizens Of The Year Award to Jane and Bobby Andrews.
