Possible gunshots lock down D’Arbonne Woods

At approximately 12:30PM today, the Darbonne Woods Charter
School School Resource Officer (SRO) notified UPSO dispatch of a
report he received of possible gunshots heard near the DWCS campus.
Out of an abundance of caution, the SRO placed the campus
into a soft-lockdown. Additional UPSO deputies quickly responded
to the area. Deputies checked the campus and nearby areas for
any criminal activity, utilizing patrol vehicles and a thermal drone.
During this time no suspicious persons or activity were located.
The lockdown was then lifted and normal school operations commenced.
