On Saturday, September 13, 2025, just after 1AM, deputies attempted
to stop a vehicle in the Conway community near Marion,
after observing several traffic violations. The driver refused to stop
and led deputies on a pursuit, where the driver reached high speeds,
crossed into oncoming lanes, and unsecured items were thrown
from the truck. During the pursuit, an object struck the pursuing
deputy’s patrol vehicle and damaged the windshield. The vehicle
was later abandoned in a remote area of Spearsville and the occupants
of the vehicle fled into the woods.
Deputies immediately initiated a search of the area and called
for additional assistance. During the search, deputies captured one
of the occupants of the vehicle, Lacy Latisha Ledford, 45, of Marion
and placed her into custody. The investigation revealed the driver
of the vehicle as Jordan Allen Hocevar, 33, of Spearsville, also
known by his street name of “J Dog”. After an exhaustive search,
Hocevar was not located. A records check revealed that Hocevar
had active warrants for his arrest for failing to appear in court for
previous drug charges.
