Shanna Marie Burroughs

Funeral services for Ms. Shanna Marie Burroughs, age 43 of Farmerville, LA was held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Beulah Baptist Church, 585 Beulah Church Road, Farmerville, LA, with Bro. Adam Holloway officiating. Burial followed at Beulah Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Shanna was an AVID NFL, New Orleans Saints and LSU fan that could tell you stats, players history, and records. She especially liked the LA. Tech Lady Techsters. Shanna was a very giving and caring soul who would help anyone. During high school, Shanna was a member of the Farmerville High School Band as a trumpet player and served in the ROTC at Benton High School, Louisiana.

Shanna was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Rev. Frank Burroughs, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Robert “Coke” and Clemmie Lockwood Johnson; aunts Frances Garris and Pat Dendy; and uncle, Robert Garris.

She is survived by her parents, Dusty and Marie Burroughs; paternal grandmother, Linda Burroughs; sister, Heather Burroughs Smith (Justin); niece, Kendal Smith; uncles, Mike Burroughs (Sherry), Gary Johnson (Debby), Bobby Johnson (Maggie), and Terry Johnson (T.K.); aunts, Kim Burroughs, Lorie Vallery (Shane), Vicky Brantley (Donny), and Becky Floyd (Jesse); a host of cousins, family, and friends.

Serving as pallbearers were Marty Garris, Eric Dendy, Steven Johnson, Jamie Brantley, Michael Johnson, and Brian Burroughs.

Visitation was held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Beulah Baptist Church in Spearsville, LA.
