Samantha Conley and Matt Tucker exchanged marriage vows at 4 pm on February 2, 2013 at Bethel Church of Downsville. Bro. Laymond Tucker and Bro. Glyn Nale officiated the ceremony. Parents of the couple are Chris and Lisa Cain of Downsville, Brian and Becky Conley of Marion, and Bro. Laymond and Traci Tucker of Downsville. Grandparents of the bride are Benny Ford of Linville, Jerry and Judy Smith of Marion, Bro.Glyn and Sandra Nale of Marion, LA, Terry Conley of Virginia, Petra Zambrano and the late Victor Zambrano of Texas. Grandparents of the groom are Laymond and Helen Tucker of Arkansas, Tony and Rosemary Nolan of Farmerville, and Nancy Jones and the late Frank Jones of Downsville. The bride was escorted by her Father, Brian Conley. Brittany Murphy served as Maitren of Honor. Cindy Boggs, Ashley Morgan, Amber Anthony, Chelsey Drewett, Christi Nolan, Jodie Gomez and Alexis Stuckey served as bridesmaids. Hanna Conley served as Junior Bride. Colton Murphy served as best man. Joey Boggs, Wade Halley, Kalon Billings, Allen Neal, Brandon Justice, Cash Littlefield, and Luke Nolan served as groomsmen. Luke Hinton served as junior groom. Rylee Anthony and Emma Boggs served as flower girls and Ethan Boggs served as ring bearer. Ashley Henry and Ryan Sides were candle lighters. The ushers were Jason Matthews, Ryan Conley, Ryan Sides, and Nathan Skains. Miranda Calhoun served as guest registry. McKenzie Cranford and Kali Smith greeted guest and gave out programs. Kenly and Brilee Smith, Gracie LaGrone, and Kamryn Williams passed out bird seed bags.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Marion High School. She is employed by Bradley Beck State Farm in Lafayette and is pursuing a business degree at Delta Community College. The groom is a 2008 graduate of Downsville High School. He is employed by Landmark Aviation of Lafayette and attends South Louisiana Community College in Lafayette and is majoring in Airframe and Power plant. The reception was held at Tall Oaks Lodge in Farmerville. Entertainment provided by Mike McKenzie. The couple will make their home in Lafayette.
