|Pardue, Ewing wed June 18|
Audrey Nicole Pardue and David Clinton Ewing exchanged marriage vows at 6:00 p.m. on June 18, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Ruston. Bro. Wayne Whiteside officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jimmy and LaDonna Pardue of Farmerville. She is the granddaughter of Jim and Glynda Pardue and the late Wilma Pardue and the late John L and Wilda Hicks of Farmerville.
The groom is the son of David and Susan Ewing of Farmerville (formerly ofShreveport). He is the grandson of Luther and Tosie Ewing of Benton and Helen and the late Melvin Sproull of Shreveport.
The bride was escorted by her father and wore a timeless design gown by Maggie Sottero in soft Alabaster shimmer-satin. The strapless bodice was created in delicate Venetian lace sprinkled with crystals and satin rouching, which molded into a tightly fitted waist. The dramatic Ball-gown skirt featured an inset of beaded Venetian lace punctuated with hand-made silk roses. The softly bubbled skirt extended to Chapel length with a confection of layered bustles, nestled with roses, creating the breath-taking train. Her veil was fingertip length with a beaded edge. Her bouquet was a hand tied cascade of miniature Calla Lilies, Big Fun and Riviera Roses, White Dendrobrium Orchids, Tree Fern, Bear Grass and Salal. The handle was wrapped in a Bonnet, given to the Bride at birth to be used on her wedding day, with pearls and gold boullion.
Emily Barr served as maid of honor. Christy Duncan, Paige Roberts, Sarah Trickett, Jana Waller and Sara Senn served as bridesmaids. Aimee Caroline Calloway served as junior bridesmaid and Eva Snead and Mia Kiihnl were flower girls. MacKenzie and Caroline Droddy served as honorary bridesmaids.
Frank Darden served as best man. Mike Jefferson, Will Alvis, Eric Veuleman, Eric Pardue, brother of the bride, and John Daniel Trickett served as groomsmen.
Patrick Snead served as junior groomsman. Matt Combs and Jonathan Mire served as ushers. Christian Calloway and Parker Snead served as honorary groomsmen. Audrey is a graduate of Ouachita Christian High School and Louisiana Tech. She holds a Bachelorís degree in Merchandising and Consumer Studies.
Clint is a graduate of Captain Shreve High School and Louisiana Tech. He holds a Bachelorís degree in civil engineering and is employed with International Paper.
The reception was held at the Ruston Civic Center. Following their honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple will make their home in Texarkana, Texas.
