|Ford, Bryant exchange vows|
Jessica Lane Ford and Jason Colbert Bryant, high school sweethearts, exchanged marriage vows Sept. 16, 2006 in a double-ring ceremony at the Lake D’Arbonne home of Pat and Kay Carroll of Farmerville. The ceremony was performed in a beautiful outside setting facing the lake.
The arch was decorated with ivory tulle, greenery and wedding bells surrounded by beautiful ferns. Mr. Herman Senn of Farmerville officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Tommy and Jane Burkett of Farmerville and the late John Ford. Her grandparents are Lillian Crowson of West Monroe and the late R.C. Crowson, and the late Jessie Ford.
The groom is the son of Mike and Vickie Bryant of Farmerville. His grandparents are Rabun L. and Josephine Hicks of Farmerville and the late J.C. and Vinola Bryant.
The bride was escorted by her father, Tommy Burkett. She wore an elegant floor length gown of ivory matte satin with crystals attached to the waistband. Her long veil of crystals, flowers and ivory tulle was made by her grandmother, Lillian Crowson.
Their daughters Leah Bryant and Cadence Rabano served as miniature bridesmaids. They were dressed identically in tea length ivory matte satin dresses with ivory satin roses attached at the waist and tied with satin bows in the back. They wore tiny wrist corsages to match the bride’s bouquet.
Ashley Bailey of West Monroe and Torri Booth of Farmerville served as junior bridesmaid. They also wore tea length ivory matte satin dresses and each wore wrist corsages in the bride’s colors.
The bride is a graduate of Farmerville High School and served four years in the U.S. Army in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. She is employed in West Monroe.
The groom is a graduate of Farmerville High School and is employed in West Monroe.
The reception followed in the home of Pat and Kay Carroll of Farmerville. Following their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Farmerville.
