Sara Nicole Nolan and Randall Colby Dickerson exchanged marriage vows on June 12, 2010 at the Lake D'Arbonne Chapel in Farmerville, LA. Russ Givens officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Ricky and Cam Nolan of Downsville, LA and Randall and Cherrie Dickerson of West Monroe, LA. Grandparents of the bride are Sam and Clara Nolan of West Monroe, LA and J.W. and Bonnie Littleton of Downsville, LA. Great grandmother of the bride, Dovie Brantley of Downsville, LA. Grandparents of the groom are Larry and Linda Ryder of Bastrop, LA and Lois and the late Bob Dickerson of Crossett, AR. Great grandmother of the groom, Cleo Ryder of Bastrop, LA.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, Ricky Nolan, who wore a black suit and a pink stripped tie. Sara wore a couture gown of bright white satin. The gown was a limited edition made by designer, Maggie Sottero. The sweetheart neckline was embellished with Swaroski crystals and antique lace. The gown had a corset bodice and chapel length train trimmed in antique lace to match her veil. The bride wore a headband made of Swaroski crystals to match the crystals on the gown. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of pink peonies and roses in various shades wrapped in lace from her mothers' bridal veil.
Bridgit Murphy served as Matron of Honor. Melanie Roberts served as Maid of Honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Lydia Eppinette, Megan Menard and Nichole Caskey, wearing knee length, watermelon pink, strapless gowns paired with cowboy boots. All attendants wore matching pink necklaces and earrings as a gift from the bride along with the cowboy boots. Flower girls, Ema Stone and Ellie Stone carried white flower baskets filled with pink rose petals. Joel and Misti Stone are the proud parents of the two girls, all of West Monroe, LA.
Randall Dickerson, grooms father, served as Best Man. Serving as groomsmen was Brady Dickerson, brother of the groom, Luke Nolan, brother of the bride, Joel Stone, Wade Murphy and Jared Adams. Ushers were Kyle Brothers and Jason Bankston. The groomsmen wore watermelon pink polo shirts and khaki pants to match. The groom wore a traditional black tuxedo adorned with a boutonniere with a single white rose. The reception was held at the Lake D'Arbonne Country Club where guests enjoyed dancing and food provided by L&L Catering by Linda Peevy. Flower arrangements of pink gladiolas and Gerber daisies were placed on each round table. The wedding cake was a round, three-tiered strawberry cake with butter cream icing adorned with an assortment of pink roses. The groom's cake was a two-tiered chocolate cake with different fishing lures and chocolate covered strawberries. The event was coordinated by Ruth Mixon in Farmerville, LA.
The bride is a graduate of Downsville High School and is currently attending the University of Louisiana at Monroe in her second semester of Nursing School. The groom is a graduate of West Monroe High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe in Business Management. He is currently employed with Pender Industrial in Sterlington, LA. Following a honeymoon to Orlando, FL the couple will make their home in Union Parish.
