|Anderson, Taylor wed May 1|
Rhiannon Nicole Taylor and John Richard Anderson, II exchanged marriage vows at 6 p.m., May 1, 2010 at Antioch Baptist Church in Farmerville. Bro. Greg Dunn officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dent Taylor of Farmerville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Joe A. Brantley and the late Barbara Dean Brantley and the late Carl Taylor and Ann Taylor Benoit, all of Farmerville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Anderson of Farmerville. He is the grandson of Billy Floyd and Judy Pearson and James “Cooter” and Martha Anderson, all of Farmerville, and Max and Joann Smith of West Monroe.
The bride was presented in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore an elegant ivory Italian satin wedding gown designed by Ginza Bridals from their Ella Rose collection. The strapless, corset back gown was adorned with a beaded pattern of embroidery and featured soft pleated ruching that flowed in the back to a full circle chapel train. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet composed of sunflowers with hints of pixies, statice, and button mums.
Cindy Boggs served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Halley and Karol Stokes. Abigail Hancock and Laynie Jones served as flower girls.
Johnny Anderson served as best man. Groomsmen were Trey Rodgers and Joey Boggs. Rhett Anderson served as ringbearer. Music was provided by Austin Desadier, pianist and Tiffany Smith, soloist.
Ree is a graduate of Farmerville High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance. She is employed with Tara Therapy at Bernice Nursing and Rehab Center. John is a graduate of Farmerville High School and attended South Arkansas Community College. He is employed with Centerpoint Energy.
The reception followed in the church’s fellowship hall. Following their honeymoon trip to Destin, Fla., the couple will make their home in Farmerville.
