|Farrar, Barber wed Dec. 19|
On Dec. 19, Kristen Diane Farrar of Lillie and Steven Dale Barber of Batesville, Ark. were united in marriage at Judsonia Church of Christ in Judsonia, Ark. with John Kachelman Jr. officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Bud and Carol Farrar of Lillie.
The groom is the son of Robert and Dana Barber of Batesville, Ark.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a Casablanca gown of silky white satin. The strapless A-line gown featured crystal beadwork and silver embroidery on the bodice, skirt and semi-cathedral length train. She wore a single strand of pearls belonging to the groom’s mother.
Her silver and pearl tiara was paired with an elbow-length veil. The bride carried a bouquet of white and red calla lillies.
Serving as maid of honor for the bride was the bride’s sister, Lynley Farrar of Lillie, wearing a floor length Mori Lee gown of claret red satin and carrying a bouquet of red and white calla lillies. Also in attendance for the bride were bridesmaids Lillian Haik of Calhoun, Madison Halbrook of Ruston, Rachel Grady of Searcy, Ark., Jamie Honeycutt of Plano, Texas and Erin Joy Bullough of Handford, Calif.
Serving as best man for the groom was the groom’s brother, Eric Barber of Batesville, Ark.
Also in attendance for the groom were groomsmen Drew Fleming of Batesville, Ark., Brandon Grady of Searcy, Ark., Greg Lyons of Grand Rapids, Mich., Seth Byers of Batesville, Ark. and Austin Kelly of Houston, Texas.
The ring bearer for the ceremony was Taylor Archer of Spearsville.
Flower girls for the ceremony included Sarah Knabe of Searcy, Ark. and Sarah Barber of Batesville, Ark., both cousins of the groom. They dressed alike in floor length satin white and organza dresses trimmed in claret red satin.
Lilliana Hilburn of Cabot, Ark. and cousin of the bride along with Hannah Knabe of Searcy, Ark. and cousin of the groom served as candle lighters.
Melanie Daniels of El Dorado, Ark. and Lizzie Barron of Spearsville presided over the guest registry.
Ushers included the cousins of both the bride and groom.
A reception followed the ceremony at the church fellowship building.
