|Spears, Johnson wed Oct. 3|
Jessica and David Johnson exchanged marriage vows at 3 p.m. Oct. 3 at Tall Oaks Lodge in Farmerville. Bro. Danny Eddy officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Wallace and Carmen Spears of Downsville and Charles David and Donna Johnson Jr. of Farmerville. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Kenney of Downsville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Spears of West Monroe. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Brantley of Downsville and the late Charles Johnson of Farmerville and Janie Johnson of Farmerville. The groom is the great-grandson of Dorothy Brantley of West Monroe.
The bride, wearing a spaghetti strap ruched empire waist dress in burnout floral chiffon with a sweep train, was escorted by her father.
Dressed in black one-shoulder long jersey dresses with a charmeuse bust and a cascading back, Tiffany Sweitzer served as maid of honor, while Marjo Eppinette and Brandi McCartney, the bride’s sister, served as bridesmaids. Rylee Johnson, cousin of the groom, was the flowergirl. Kaylee McKoin and Raygan Johnson, cousins of the groom, sat at the guest book.
Justin Morris and Jeremy Albritton served as best men. Eric Bird and Ricky Johnson, the groom’s brother, served as groomsmen. Jose’ F. Guevara Jr. and Wesley Spears, the bride’s brother, served as ushers. Dylan McCartney, the bride’s nephew, was ring bearer.
The bride is a graduate of Downsville High School and attended Louisiana Tech University.
The groom is a graduate of Ouachita Christian School and attended Louisiana Tech University.
The reception was held at Tall Oaks Lodge in Farmerville with Shannon Futch acting as DJ.
Following their honeymoon, the couple will make their home in Farmerville.
