Joshua Seth Kyle and Kristina Marie Edwards were married at 6:30 p.m. May 23 at Colonelís Quarters, Oxford, Miss., with Dr. Gary Richardson officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shawn Edwards of Millbrook, Ala., and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Edwards of Oxford, Miss., Mr. and Mrs. Denny Gregg of Calhoun City, Miss., and Ms. Suzy Kolaz of Sarasota, Fla.
She is a graduate of Edgren High School in Misawa, Japan, and the University of Mississippi, where she received a B.A. in elementary education.
The groom is the son of Mr. Gordon Kyle of Alma, Ark. and Ms. Nancy Kyle of Brandon, Miss., and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fitzgerald of Farmerville, Ms. Grace Kyle of Downsville, and the late Pryor Daniel Kyle.
He is a graduate of Clinton High School in Clinton, Miss., Mississippi College, and the University of Mississippi School of Law. After law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rhesa H. Barksdale on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Ms. Lauren Powers served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Meghan Anderson, Hope Edwards, Katherine Harris, Rebecca LeNoue, Malory McNulty and Tracy Rincan. Sarah Elisabeth Davis served as junior bridesmaid.
Mr. Michael Strong served as best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Bryant, Cody Edwards, Matthew Ingram, John Lassiter, David OíNeal, Creighton Pitts and Samuel Wells. Hailey Edwards, cousin of the bride, and Emma Semmes, niece of the groom, served as flower girls.
On the evening of the ceremony, a rehearsal dinner honoring the couple was given by the groomís parents at the Downtown Grill on the Oxford Square. A reception at Colonelís Quarters followed the ceremony. After a honeymoon to the French West Indies, the couple is at home in New York, where the bride teaches kindergarten and the groom is an attorney with Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP in Manhattan.
