Chappell, Cole wed Oct. 11

Crystal Chappell of Bastrop and Darryl Cole of Farmerville were wed at Horton Plantation in Downsville on Oct. 11 in a 6:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of William Chappell and Rita Chappell Isaac both of Bastrop.
The groom is the son of Larry and Vicki Cole of Farmerville.
Rev. Scott Webb officiated the ceremony that was held on the grounds of the plantation on the banks of Lake D’Arbonne.
Nuptial music was preformed by Shannon Futch.
The bride was given away in marriage by her father, William Chappell.
She wore a strapless Victorian style full gown. The bodice was covered with rhinestones and pearls which also cascaded down the dress and throughout the train.
Her headpiece was a waist length veil and silver tiara.
The bouquet was made up of red and yellow sunflowers and foliage.
Amanda Thomas served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Catina Bracknell, Holley Cole, Jessica Juarez, Amanda Nale and Ashton Chappell. Merissa Culpepper served as flower girl.
Derrick Cole served as best man. Groomsmen were David Cole, Nathan Culpepper, Chris Pleasant and Oscar Flores. Carter Chappell served as ring bearer. Ushers were Corey Chappell and Casey Chappell.
A reception followed at the plantation where The Dean of Flowers and Alan Futch assisted in courtesies.
The bride is granddaughter of the late Newton (Bee) Huff, the late Frankie M. Chappell and Edward Chappell, Sr. all of Bastrop.
She is employed with Hearts Desire in Farmerville.
The groom is the grandson of the late James E. Cole and the late Roma Brigman and the late Charles and Helen Kennedy.
He is employed with TransOcean.
