|Cole, Chevallier wed Aug. 12|
Ashlea Michele Cole and Stephen Wayne Chevallier exchanged marriage vows Aug. 16 at the La. Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe. Rev. Kelly Leach officiated.
The bride is the granddaughter of Beth McDougal and the late John McDougal of Marion, and Margie Cole and the late J. L. Cole of Farmerville. She is a graduate of Farmerville High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe, with a Bachelors of Health Science degree in Radiologic Technology. She is a recent graduate of Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Miss, with a specialty degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Ashlea is employed at Northern La. Medical Center in Ruston.
The groom is the grandson of the late Thomas and Inez Chevallier of Farmerville, and the late Edmund and Nettie Guice of Downsville. The groom, a graduate of Downsville High School, is self-employed with Chevallier Builders in Downsville.
Autumn Cole served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: Kristyn Stinson, Racheal Rabalais, Kassidy Bennett, and Holly Leach. Junior bridesmaid was Kaitlyn Roberson, and flower girl was Reese McDougal. The bride was escorted by her father, Mark Cole.
Andy Estes served as best man. Groomsmen were: Josh Walsworth, Brandon Albritton, Joey Skains, and Josh Taylor.
Junior groomsman was Gage Abercrombie, and ring bearer was Blaine Skains. Music was provided by pianist Tara Brawley.
A reception was held immediately after the ceremony. Following a honeymoon, the couple will reside in Downsville.
