Ronquille, Thompson wed July 23

Wendy Ronquille became the bride of Michael Thompson on July 23 at the Chappelle du Paradis at Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
The bride is the daughter of Royce and Colleen Ronquille of Port Acres, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Clenton Ronquille and the late Nathalie Ronquille, and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Monk. She is a graduate of Nederland High School, McNeese State University, and Lamar University. Wendy holds degrees in Paralegal and Criminal Justice. She is employed by TransCanada Pipeline Corporation.
The groom is the son of Stanley and Christine Thompson of Downsville. He is the grandson of May C. Schum and the late George F. Schum, and Pearl Thompson and the late J.C. Thompson. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy Submarine Force, a former Navy SCUBA Diver, and attended the Naval War College and Louisiana Tech University. He is employed by El Paso Pipeline Corporation.
Wendy was given away by her father, Royce. Attending the bride as Matron of Honor was Tarnie Stubbe. Junior bridesmaids were nieces of the bride, Tiffany and Lauren Ronquille. The groom’s father, Stanley, served as best man. Groomsmen were brother and nephew of the bride, Chip and Tyler Ronquille.
Following their honeymoon in Las Vegas, the couple will make their home on Lake D’Arbonne.
