|Singleton, Mack exchange vows|
LaKetha Danyell Singleton and Sam Mack III exchanged wedding vows May 19. The marriage ceremony was held in Monroe at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Walter Brown officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of James Kent and Karen Singleton of Spearsville. She is the granddaughter of the late Maple Ruth Singleton and the late Ollie Dan (O.D.) and Ruthie Davis of Bernice.
The groom is the son of Sam Jr. and Lela Mack of Memphis, Tenn. He is the grandson of the late Sam (Chris) and Annie Mae Mack and the late Evan and Pearl Brown.
The bride was escorted by her father. Her close friend, Arriba Webb, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were LaQueta Traylor, Queona Van, Tamika Harris, Marquita Johnson, and Yolonda Brownlee. The flower girl was Da’xia Warren.
Terrence Mack, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Other groomsmen were Andy McCants, David King, Reginald Brownlee, David Taylor and Chad Warren. Cousin of the groom Phillip White, Jr. served as the ring bearer.
The bride is a graduate of Spearsville High School and Louisiana Tech University. She is currently employed with Entergy in Little Rock, Ark.
The groom is a graduate of Newton High School and attended East Central George Community College. He is currently employed with Terminix.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the West Monroe Convention Center. The couple honeymooned in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They will make their home in Little Rock, Ark.
