|Braxton, Craig exchange vows|
Katy Ann Braxton and Buster Eugene Craig exchanged marriage vows Saturday, May 26 at the Farmerville Church of Christ.
Katyís parents are Brian and Cindy Braxton of Farmerville. Busterís parents are Vicki Mixon of Montrose, Arkansas and Ronald Craig of New London, Texas.
The brideís grandparents are Bee and Carol Stewart of Farmerville and Tommy and Sharon Braxton of Pollock. She is the great-granddaughter of Lois Nick of West Monroe. Maggie Langston and Vera Thomas of Marion served as honorary great-grandmothers. The groom is the grandson of Earl Burns and the late Christine Burns of Montrose, Arkansas and Mattie Ruth Craig and Eugene Craig of Lake Village, Arkansas.
Escorted by her father, Brian Braxton, the bride wore a full white satin gown adorned with tiny pearls and layers of tulle. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of varying shades of pink roses. Maid of Honor was Brandi Braxton, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Crystal Freeman, Alisan Morris, Tyler Grimes, and Melissa Nerio.
Best Man was Rocky Trigleth, childhood friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Luke Hough, James Oliver, Jarod Terry, and Michael Holiman.
Guests were greeted by Brooklyn Shannon, Katie Hay, and Sarah Hay, and ushered by Jared Braxton, Brad Kaufman, and Chris Schulz. The Music Coordinator was Richard Foshee and the photographer was Todd Stewart. Singers were Drew Baze and JoJo Orten Willis. Candlelighters were Dakoda and Montana Nelson. Decorations of white tulle and pink roses were prepared by Alan Futch and Rita Huffstutter. Larry White officiated the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of Ouachita Christian School and Louisiana Tech Universtiy. She is currently pursing her Masters of Business Administration at La Tech University. The groom is a graduate of Lakeside High School in Lake Village Arkansas and is a senior Graphic Design major at Louisiana Tech University.
The couple will make their home in Ruston.
