Cory, Rogers married June 7

The beautiful gardens of the Thomas A. The back waistline held an elaborate white rose bow of satin ribbon which began the cathedral-length train, outlined with satin ribbon, with numerous, cascading bead patterns throughout. Her pearl and pink sapphire jewelry was a gift from her son, Collin, she also wore her late mother, Ms. Shirley Parsons, and her late grandmother, Mrs. Grace Collins Cory’s, diamond wedding bands in their honor.

Miss Katherine Allison-Elizabeth Rogers served her parents as maid-of-honor, wearing a dress of pastel yellow. The fitted yellow bodice had extensive pearl inlays and bead patterns, the white full skirt had yellow satin roses, cascading ribbons, and pearl-bead inlays. She wore a white pearl embossed suit with white lace trim. Collin Patrick Smith served his parents as best man and train bearer.

The reception room which was built by the groom, was aglow with numerous candle gardens and bouquets of multi-colored pastel roses. The double heart design “Soul Mates” was the theme. Many portraits were displayed of the bride and groom throughout the reception area. Miss Stephanie Salyers and Miss Nancy Pearson, both dear friends and former students of the bride, provided courtesies.
