|McKinnie, Hughes marry on April 28|
Neomia Misty Marie McKinnie and Jacob Wade Hughes, both of Farmerville, were wed on April 28 at D’Arbonne State Park. Misty is the daughter of Carter and Janice Dupree of Farmerville. She is the granddaughter of Fulton and Ruth Lum of Huttig, Ark. And Marie McKinnie of Marion. Jacob is the son of Sherwood and Kathy Hughes of Downsville. His is the grandson of Mary Ann Schmidt of Florida and Cody Wagner.
Kieth McVay officiated. The fishing pier was decorated with an arch adorned with royal blue sheer and white Magnolias and butterflies. Nuptial music was performed by Jimmy Smith, Jr.
Presiding at the guest registry was Jenny and Leanna Hancock. Misty was given away in marriage by her father, Carter Dupree. She wore a pearl strapless Taffeta and bead accented gown that had a split front. Her veil was a rhinestone tiara and tulle with beaded ribbon, made by her grandmother. The bride’s bouquet was white and royal blue roses with white butterflies. Stephanie Smith served as matron of honor. Her dress was periwinkle blue, floor length with a lace bodice. Pam Hancock served as a bridesmaid. Jade Smith was the flower girl. She wore a white sheer and taffeta dress.
Walt Hancock served as best man with Sam Hughes as a groomsman. Robert Dupree was the ring bearer. Justin McKinnie ushered the guests in.
