Johnny Williams (09-19-2013)
Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Williams, 67, of D’Arbonne, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Culbertson Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Jennings and Bro. Jeff May officiating. Burial was in Culbertson Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mr. Williams, a retiree from the Union Parish Police Jury, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013. He was a member of Culbertson Baptist Church and served as a deacon for many years. His favorite pastime was fishing.
Preceding him in death were his parents: Nash and Gladys Williams; his wife, Sheila Williams and a brother, Ray Williams.
He is survived by his two sons: Timmy Williams and Laura, and Tommy Williams and wife, Donna Faye; two daughters: Sharon Norwood and husband, James and Racheal Williams; 7 grandchildren: April Moon and husband Scott, Tyler Norwood, Krista Booker, Benji Williams, Whitney Stamey, Carley Martinez and Taylor Martinez; four great grandchildren: Jayden Gouedy, Kenzlie Moon, Peyton Booker and Gage Booker; three brothers: Roy Williams and wife Nell, Ronnie Williams and wife Betty, and J.N. Williams and wife Karen, 2 sisters: Kay Williams Wade and husband Mack, and Mary Faye Williams Holloway and husband John; sister-in-law Julie Wade, and numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
Visitation was Tuesday, Sept. 10 at Farrar Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Will Bilberry, Philip Bilberry, Rick Foster, Freddy Nyegaard, Paul Hartwick, and Dale Putman. Online messages for the family may be left at farrarfuneralhomeonline.com.
