A. Griffin, 78, of Marion,
LA, were held at 2 p.m. on
Thursday, September 21,
2017, at Conway Church
of Christ in Marion. Officiating
the service were
Cullen Smith and Jamie
Orten. Visitation was held
from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday,
September 20, 2017, at
Kilpatrick Funeral Home
in Farmerville, also from
12 pm till time of service at
the church. Officiating the
graveside at Conway Cemetery
will be Ray Alexander
and Benoit Holloway.
Kenny was born on May
16, 1939, and passed away on
September 19, 2017 in West Monroe, LA. He was a member
of Conway Church of Christ. Mr. Griffin served in the
United States Air Force and worked for the Union Parish
Police Jury as a diesel mechanic for over 25 years.
He was preceded in death by: His wife, Lema Jean Griffin;
mother and step-dad, Mattie Lou and Earl Kenley; his
father, Louis Griffin; his brother, J.M. Griffin; a nephew,
Lou Griffin; and niece Cindy Griffin Beaird.
Survivors include: His stepson, Bo Smith and wife
Gwen of Texarkana, Ark.; two stepdaughters – Ralinda
Smith Courson, JoAnn Smith Lively and husband Ronald
all of Farmerville; two nephews – Jesse Griffin of Lauderdale,
Miss. and Jason Griffin of Farmerville; three special
nieces – Lori Griffin Mitchell of Farmerville, Shauna
Crews and Kennedy Milligan of Vidor, Texas; special
nephew Russell Crews of Farmerville; dear friend Bill
Dollar; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren;
as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Russell Crews, Cliff Crews, Kelly
Mitchell, Dewayne Mitchell, Shane Alford, Jesse Griffin
III, Charles Gray and Sonny Hicks.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesse Griffin, Jason Griffin
and William “Bill” Dollar.
