Janice ‘Beverly’ Crow O’Brien (05-18-2017)
Funeral services for Mrs. Janice “Beverly” Crow
O’Brien, 84, of Farmerville, were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday,
May 11, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Farmerville.
Officiating was the Rev. Kurt Auger and the Rev. Bubba
Hoggatt. Interment followed at Liberty Taylor Cemetery in
Farmerville under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
Beverly was born on August 6, 1932 in Marion and
passed away on May 9, 2017, in Farmerville. She was owner
and operator of Bev’s Beauty Shop for over 40 years and
a member of the First Baptist Church in Farmerville.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents, James Edward
Crow and Fannie Ruth Miller; husband Jack Mickey
O’Brien Sr., three sisters – Lurline Crow, Emma Alice
Rawls and Jamie Ruth Thornton; and a brother Max Crow.
Survivors include: Her daughter, Annette Gray and
husband Jimmy of Bernice; a son, Mickey O’Brien Jr., of
Farmerville; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1
great-great grandchild; a sister, Pat Hicks and husband
Bobby of Marion; sister-in-law, Patsy O’Brien Hall of
Houston, TX; brother in laws, Ferrell “Doodle” Harvey of
Truxno, Richard Turpin of Houston, Texas, Sonny Turpin of Iraan, Texas; and a special
furry companion friend “Chip;” as well and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Kilpatrick Funeral
Home in Farmerville.
