Funeral services for Benny P. Ford, 69, of Linville were
held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Farrar Funeral
Home Chapel with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating.
Burial followed at Liberty Cemetery in Linville.
Mr. Ford went to his heavenly home April 17, 2017.
Benny was a retired truck driver for the Union Parish
Police Jury. He enjoyed playing dominos, bingo and visiting
with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by: His father, Burnell Ford;
his mother, Lona Russell; a son, Ben Ford; and a sister,
Gaye Day.
Left to cherish his memory is: His daughter, Lisa Cain
and husband Chris; daughter-in-law, Amber Anthony;
step-daughter Kristi Bergeron and husband Brandon;
two step-sons Stuart Williams and wife Angie and Scott
Williams and wife Jessi; three sisters Sandra Perry and
husband Jodie, Faye Dixon and husband Billy Joe and Billie
Bowen; 12 grandchildren Jason Matthews and wife
Ashley, Samantha Tucker and husband Matt, Ryan Conley,
Rylee Anthony, Kamryn Williams, Dean Williams, Ryan
Williams, Ethan Williams, Kaci Bagley and husband,Max,
Bryson Hatfield, Colten Cain and wife Hannah and Callie
Cain; nine great-grandchildren Maverick Tucker, Jaxon
Matthews, Brantley Matthews, Mason Matthews, Nolan
Matthews, Ben Bagley, Cash Cain, Cannon Ford, Carson
Cain and Millie Cain; and numerous nieces, nephews and
a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Roy Reppond, Matt Hall, Dale Dupree,
Brandon Dixon, Pete Parks and Kevin Dupree. Honorary
Pallbearers were Dewey Rhodes, Buster Maxey, Stein
Bearden, Jeromy Pruitt and Robin Cox. Visitation was
from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in the chapel at
Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
The family would like to thank the staff and directors
at Arbor Lake for all of the care and love given to Benny.
