Mr. Cecil Brown, 89, of
Farmerville, were held at
10 a.m. on Wednesday, April
5, 2017, at Antioch Baptist
Church in Farmerville.
Officiating the service will
be Rev. Paul Carter with
Rev. Rubin Weaver assisting.
Interment followed at
Liberty Taylor Cemetery
in Farmerville under the
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral
Mr. Brown was born on
October 23, 1927, in Hamburg,
Ark. and passed away
on April 2, 2017 in Monroe.
He was a retired boiler
room supervisor for International
Paper Company and a veteran of the U.S Army.
He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and a judge
for the American Kennel Club.
He was preceded in death by: His parents, James Ray
Brown, and Edith Brown; a brother, Charles William
Brown; and a sister, Betty Hobbs.
Survivors include: His wife of 64 years, Margie Albritton
Brown of Farmerville; daughter, Vickie Parks of Lewisville,
Texas; two grandchildren, Keith Parks and Kellie
Parks; two great-granddaughters; three brothers Bobby
Brown, James Brown and John Brown; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4,
2017, at the church.
