Wanda Lou Wales, 75, of
Farmerville will be held at

11, 2017, at Arkansas
State Veteran’s Cemetery in
North Little Rock, Ark. with
Bro. Buel Lewallen officiating.
Burial will be in the
Arkansas State Veteran’s
Cemetery in under the direction
of Farrar Funeral
Home in Farmerville.
Mrs. Wales, a homemaker,
went to her heavenly
home January 4, 2017. She
was a native of Tuckerman,
Ark. and moved to Pensacola,
Fla., where she spent
most of her lifetime. Being
a pastor’s wife, their ministry took them to Florida, New
Mexico, Pine Bluff, Ark. and Bald Knob, Ark. Mrs. Wales
was an excellent cook, a caretaker when called upon and
she loved to sing in the church choir. She loved her family,
her dogs and was a best friend to many.
She was preceded in death by: Her husband of 56 years,
Rev. Ronald Wales; parents Lloyd and Ruby Dawson Lewallen;
two brothers – Ernie Yonker and Delbert Lewallen;
and a sister, Helen Lewallen.
Left to cherish her memory are: Her two daughters –
Rhonda Lee Reeves of Pine Bluff, Ark. and Tonya Veatch
and husband Walter of Farmerville; two brothers – Larry
Lewallen and wife Vickie of Whitehall, Ark. and Keith
Yonker of Bauxite, Ark.; three sisters – Janell Totten
and husband, Evan of Parker, Colo., Tamara Sublett and
husband Michael of Bauxite, Ark. and Darla Duncan and
husband Rocky of Clayton, N.C.; six grandchildren – Randall
Veatch and wife Cassie, Vanasse Pierce and husband
Michael, Leah Harris and husband Josh, Robert Ridder,
Christopher Reeves and wife Dina and Victoria Watson;
as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, January 7,
2017, at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La.
