Funeral services for Marvis
Nell ‘Ted” Spano, 86, of
Farmerville, were held at 11
a.m. on Wednesday, November
16, 2016, in the chapel of
Kilpatrick Funeral Home in
Farmerville with Father Al
Jost officiating. Visitation was
held prior to the service from
9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment was at Lake Lawn
Cemetery in New Orleans, LA
Friday, November 18, 2016 at
3:00 P.M. under direction of
Kilpatrick Funeral Homes.
Marvis Nell was born on
June 12, 1930, and went to her
heavenly home on November
13, 2016. She was a member of
Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Catholic Church in Farmerville.
After retiring from Bell South and the passing of her husband,
Peter Spano, she returned to Union Parish from New Orleans to
reunite with family and friends which she cherished and enjoyed
every moment she spent with them.
Marvis Nell was preceded in death by: Her parents, Judson
and Sallie B. Williams; her husband, Peter Spano; and sister,
Left to cherish her memory are: Her daughter Pat and the late
Angelo Lupo of Metairie; grandson, Kevin Lupo and wife Ann
of River Ridge; granddaughter, Christina Farrell and husband
Johnny and family of Metairie; Jimmy and the late Dianne
Nolan and family of Dubach; Danny and Mary Beth Farris and
family of Tuscola, Texas; Joey and Nadia Farris and family of
Farmerville; and cousins of the Hearn and Williams family.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital or Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
